A stay at home dad’s creative journey……

Welcome!  This website is to document an amazing blessing in my life.  Almost 2 years ago, my wife and I moved to a Nashville with our two young children so she could start her residency in Emergency Medicine.  I had already been a stay at home dad before we came to Nashville. As my children started preschool,  my wife and I were trying to find a way for me to work part time. Due to her ever changing schedule, it became clear that there was no way for me to do it.  Then a friend sent me a message on Facebook telling me about a video contest being run by Southwest Airlines. The video contest wanted you to answer the question: “What would you do for one hundred dollars?”   The prize was a trip to Disney World for the entire family. I not only made a video for the contest, but wrote a little song to go with it:

A few weeks later, we found out we won!  I was blown away.  I had spent many many years playing in bands, trying to “make it” and only had a little success.  It gave me an amazing amount of pride to be able to provide something as monumental as my kid’s first trip to Disney World because I had done something creative.  I started looking for more contests online.  Fast forward to a year later.  In one year, we have won over 7 contests and have made thousands of dollars doing this!  This has been an incredible blessing of provision for my family.  We do the videos as a family, building memories as we do so.  If we win, GREAT!  If we don’t, all we lose is time, but not really since it is quality family time.  This site has been created to highlight the video contest entries we have done.  I wanted to make a site that would be easy to find for family and friends to go to if they wanted to see what we have been doing.  Please check out past videos on the video page here or via the menu tab at the top of the page. For contests still pending, or for the latest hot off the press video, check out the “The Latest Projects” tab on the menu at the top of the page.   I will also start trying to blog about the process and updates on new video contests.  Thanks to you for stopping by and checking out the site. More importantly,  thanks to God for the amazing provision He has given me.

  5. Unquestionably believe that which you said. Your favorite reason appeared
to bbe on the net the easiest thing to be aware of.

I say to you, I definitely get irked while people consider worries
that they plainly don’t know about. You managed too hit the nail upon the top and
defined out thee whole thing without having side-effects , people can take a
signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks
